GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Indiana Latino Business Expo is making its way to Ivy Tech Community College.
On Wednesday, June 12 the public is invited to attend the expo which aims to bring the Latino business community together.
The event at Ivy Tech’s Elkhart Community Center will feature a variety of Latino businesses.
A few of those businesses from Elkhart County include Journey RV, Bethza Professional Makeup Studio and Elegant Designa Bridal Shop.
The experience encourages everyone to visit and network at the event from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The expo intends to bridge the gap between Latino entrepreneurs and the larger business community while also shining a light on overcoming barriers like language.
“It’s important to bridge these types of gaps because once the community knows that the resources are there, they can do something about it and they can grow,” Yolo Lopez DeMarco, the Director of Development at Center for Healing & Hope said. “And if they can grow as entrepreneur professionals then they can help the broader business community.”
All proceeds from the event will go to the Center for Healing & Hope in Goshen.
