Indiana DNR holding contest to crown best tree planting photo

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Many photographers are also lovers of the outdoors and nature, if that's you, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Community and Urban Forestry team wants to see your best tree planting photo before the end of the month.

"To enter, email your best tree planting picture taken this past year to [email protected]. Winners, who will receive tree-themed prizes, will be notified via email and be announced on social media and at this year’s Indiana Community and Urban Forestry Symposium, Dec. 3-4 in Indianapolis," organizers said.

The contest is open to everyone, with a limit of one entry per person. Submitted photos will be judged by creative elements, photographic excellence, and overall relation to the tree planting theme.
