Indiana Department of Natural Resources is offering free admission to veterans

INDIANA- On Veteran’s Day, November 11, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources is offering free admission to its parks to all active-duty and veteran military personnel.

This deal extends to all people in the vehicle with the veteran or military personnel and includes admission to Falls of the Ohio State Park’s Interpretive Center.

Dan Bortner, the director of Indiana State Parks, said, “We appreciate the sacrifices and service of our veterans and active-duty military and look forward to recognizing them with a day to explore some of the best outdoor places in our state.”

In order to participate in this deal, an ID or other evidence of military service must be presented at the entrance gate.

Proofs of military identification include discharge papers, veteran license plates, and any certificate or verification letter or form that establishes military service.
