Icy side streets and backroads will continue to be an issue through the weekend, as temperatures remain below freezing, turning bitter cold this weekend. Friday is a quiet day with flurries starting Friday night. A turn in the wind to the northwest will bring lake effect snow showers Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. Accumulation is expected to be light, but around two inches is likely along the state line and across Southwest Michigan. Temperatures struggle to break 20 degrees this weekend, and lows will drop into the single digits Saturday night and Sunday night. Temperatures could drop below zero, Monday morning. The middle of next week, temperatures warm into the 40s.
Tonight: Few flurries possible overnight. Cold. Low 16.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. High 28.
Saturday: Lake Effect Snow. Very cold. High 18.
Sunday: AM Show Showers. High 20
