Hunters invited to help farmers in Indiana

INDIANA - The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has opened its application period for the Hunters Helping Farmers program. The program offers a solution for farmers who are suffering crop loss attributed to deer.

The DNR Divison of Fish & Wildlife is recommending landowners start a hunting program during the regular deer hunting season to help cut down on potential damage.

Landowners and hunters are encouraged to apply to the program. The application window closes August 30. The form can be filled out here.
