Homicide unit provides update in Middlebury man's death

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Homicide Unit has released the preliminary results of the investigation into the death of 63-year-old Mark Hochstetler.

Hochstetler's body was found at his home on September 29.

The preliminary investigation suggests Hochstetler died of accidental asphyxiation.

Investigators say there is no evidence there is a threat to public safety.

The investigation into Hochstetler's death is ongoing.
