Holy Cross College postpones graduation events

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.— Holy Cross College President Rev. David T. Tyson announced Wednesday that the college will postpone graduation events until Labor Day Weekend.

The change comes as many colleges and universities nationwide alter graduation plans amid concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

Events over Labor Day Weekend will mark the first time that the student body will be present for graduation along with faculty, staff, and administration.

Commencement activities for the Class of 2020 will be held on September 4-6. Baccalaureate Mass is scheduled for September 4th where we will gather to pray in thanksgiving with and for the graduates. The Commencement ceremony is on Saturday, September 5th at 2 p.m.
