History Museum to host 'Insight in History' with Women's Baseball HOFer Carol Sheldon

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The History Museum is set to host their next 'Insights in History' featuring National Women's Baseball Hall of Famer Carol Sheldon on July 2 at 1:30 p.m.

Sheldon is set to discuss topics surrounding the All American Girls Professional Baseball League, the South Bend Blue Sox and its history as one of the founding teams.

Another important topic during the presentation will be the life and career of Betsy 'Sockum' Jochum, who passed at age 104 on May 31.

Following Sheldon's talk, a Q&A will be able as a special tour of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League Exhibit will take place.

Tickets prices for the talk will be $1 for members and $3 for general audiences.
