ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, March 3, 2024
Another sunny day today with highs well above the seasonal average will conclude with temps dropping into the mid 50s and cloud cover increasing through tonight. We start off the first half of Monday with highs more than 30 degrees above the "normal" in the low 70s, likely becoming the second warmest March 4 in South Bend recorded history. Partly cloudy skies stick with us from tonight into most of Monday, but an incoming low pressure system and its associated cold front will arrive late Monday night bringing rain. As of now, expect showers and some non-severe thunderstorms to start around 10 to 11 p.m. Monday night, eventually transitioning to just rain showers through Tuesday morning and the early portion of Tuesday afternoon. The cold front will be moving through Tuesday morning as well, dropping our highs into the mid 50s. Lows Tuesday night will hover just above freezing. Expect a similar repeat to Tuesday in both high and low temperatures on Wednesday with the exception of mostly sunny skies rather than rain.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 54.
Monday: Partly cloudy, heavy rain overnight. High 72.
Tuesday: Showers. High 56.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny. High 53.
