'Harvest' a new career with USPS at job fairs in Michiana Oct. 24

The United States Postal Service will hold job fairs across the state of Indiana during October, including multiple Michiana locations.

Several local USPS offices are hiring rural carrier assistants, paying $20.38 per hour, plus some benefits.

The job fairs will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Locations include:

• 300 S. Detroit St. - LaGrange 46761
• 303 Washington St. - Michigan City 46360
• 200 S. Main St. - Middlebury 46540
• 68354 Main St. - New Paris 46553
• 209 W. Center - North Liberty 46554
• 1010 N. Indiana Ave.- Syracuse 46567
• 105 N. Main St. - Wolcottville 46795

The Indiana District will also host job fairs for all positions. The positions pay up to $22.13 per hour, plus benefits.

These job fairs will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the District Conference Center located at 8765 Guion Rd., Indianapolis, 46268.
