Harbor Country Mission announces parking lot paving project

Harbor Country Mission

BRIDGMAN, Mich. -- Harbor Country Mission, a nonprofit supplying essential items to rural families in need across Berrien County, announced Sunday that it is pursuing a $60,000 fundraising campaign to support paving the organization's parking lot.

According to Harbor Country Mission, the nonprofit's current parking lot uses uneven gravel terrain. The new parking lot is planned to be ADA-accessible and safe for families.

The infrastructure project to pave the parking lot will include 12,000 square feet of asphalt paving, site prep, grading, drainage improvements, and ADA-compliant accessible parking striping.

The nonprofit currently serves Berrien County and the surrounding region, distributing clothing, furniture, appliances, household goods, and food to anyone in need, no questions asked.
