ABC 57 Spring 2026 was a top ten warmest and wettest season, with over 13 inches of rainfall, most of that rainfall was in March and April.
March and April were very warm and very wet, both months were also top ten for both rankings. The outlier was May, that was fairly cool and dry.

The rapid transition from a cold winter to a warm spring led to an active start to the severe weather season, 5 Tornadoes locally, including two that were EF-2. Indiana and Michigan total in-total had almost 40 Tornadoes.
