
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- On Sunday, Zachariah Johnson, a man from Hamlet, was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated as a Felony.
Johnson was stopped for traffic violations around 4:06 a.m. by a Marshall County deputy on US 31 at 9A Road, when he was found to have been drinking, according to police reports.
Johnson was subjected to field sobriety tests and agreed to a certified blood test, which revealed he was two times over the legal limit for alcohol content.
Johnson was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was charged and given both a court date and a cash bond of $1500.
