Gulf coast residents picking up the pieces after Isaac

Folks are now picking up the pieces all along the Gulf Coast.


Hurricane Isaac has come and gone leaving seven dead and thousands still without power.


The Mayor of New Orleans said that this storm could be considered just as bad as Hurricane Katrina.

 

People could be cleaning up for weeks.

 

ABC caught up with some folks cleaning up.

 


 "It's miserable.  I have a generator now, I bought a generator yesterday, which is better, but it's still miserable," said  Donald Mackenroth, New Orleans resident.

 

The storm has caused scattered rain here in Michiana.
