Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer held a press conference Monday to discuss the state's response to COVID-19.
She asked residents for patience during the stay at home orders.
"To all the people that have disagreed with the actions that we have taken or feel their rights have been violated, I want to say this: We are taking a limited action for a limited amount of time to save people's lives," Whitmer said.
Whitmer also announced she will be taking a 10-percent pay cut during the pandemic.
She also said CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and other pharmacies are starting to do drive-thru coronavirus testing.
