Governor Eric Holcomb declares Emergency Management Agency Appreciation Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Governor Eric Holcomb has declared Feb. 19-26 as Emergency Management Agency Appreciation Week.
These Emergency Management Agencies work with other groups in order to meet the challenges presented by any type of emergency and reduce the negative impact that they can have on a community.
They have been recently preparing for the total solar eclipse that will occur on April 8 to keep Hoosiers safe and handle any crowds that may form when the eclipse occurs.
Hoosiers can learn how to show their thanks on the Indiana Department of Homeland Security website.
