Government shutdown not affecting SBN, may affect SBN travelers at other airports

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --  The government shutdown is affecting security lines at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the busiest airport in the world.

Although the shutdown is not affecting security lines at South Bend International Airport, passengers using SBN may experience long lines at other airports during their travels.

Delta says because they have a hub at ATL they are assisting the TSA by deploying employees to help manage security lines and answer questions from travelers.

It is always recommended to arrive to the airport two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights.
