Goshen teen injured in crash involving semi on U.S. 20

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.-- A two-vehicle collision early Tuesday left a Goshen teen with serious injuries. The crash occurred around 1:12 a.m. at the intersection of C.R. 21 and U.S. 20.

Jackson Green, 19, was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu southbound on C.R. 21 when his vehicle struck a trailer being pulled by a westbound 2005 Peterbilt semi on U.S. 20, driven by Jason Hasch, 32, of Defiance, Ohio.

Green sustained life-threatening internal injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.

Hasch reported no injuries, and the trailer had minor damage.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team is investigating.
