Glenlord Road closure now expected to last until end of November

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department reports the closure at the intersection of Glenlord Road and Lincoln Avenue will go into effect on Thursday and Friday.

The intersection will be closed for paving work and utility work on the right-of-way, which is now expected to be completed by the end of November.

Another closure includes Glenlord Road between Lincoln Avenue and Michelle Drive, which will remain closed until the sewer work has been completed.

Officials say the sewer related work is expected to be completed before the end of November.

Motorists are asked to seek alternative routes until work is completed or utilize signed detour routes.

Detour routes include Marquette Woods Road to Washington Avenue to Maiden Lane back to Lincoln Avenue or Marquette Woods Road to Hollywood Road to Maiden Lane back to Lincoln Avenue.
