SOUTH BEND, Ind. – There will be a Get out to Vote Community Rally on Friday, September 4.
South Bend council member, Sharron McBride is hosting the event on Friday.
People will be gathered to promote bipartisan civic engagement, voter’s registration, and voted education.
If attending, residents are invited to wear all white outfits, and registering to vote can be done at the rally.
The event will also be providing $100 dollar food vouchers to families in the community that are facing food insecurities at this time.
They will also be holding a fundraiser in which they are hoping to raise $25,000 to serve 250 families in the community.
There will be social distancing markers and masks for anyone attending to use.
