Garage heavily damaged in fire at home on Stone Creek Drive

A hoverboard is suspected of starting a garage fire at a home on Stone Creek Drive, according to Lincoln Charter Township Fire.
Firefighters were called to the home Sunday and found smoke and flames coming from the garage of the home.
The fire was under control within 13 minutes of arrival and 17 minutes from the initial call.
Firefighters say it is believed a hoverboard that was charging in the garage caused the fire.
Lincoln Charter Township Firefighters were aided by Royalton Township Fire Department, Medic 1 Ambulance, and Lincoln Township Police Department.
