ROCHESTER, Ind. -- A woman featured as one of Fulton County’s Top 10 fugitives was arrested Tuesday following several tips from the community.
According to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, deputies received multiple tips about a wanted person possibly in a residence in the 200 block of East 550 North, between U.S. 31 and North Old U.S. Highway 31.
As deputies followed up on the tips, they found 41-year-old Dawn Cook who was the fugitive wanted by the sheriff’s department.
FCSD says a search warrant was obtained and reportedly uncovered three quarters of a pound of marijuana, several grams of meth, and a pickup truck reported stolen from South Bend in September.
Cook and two other people, 37-year-old Eric Parsons and 75-year-old John Dudgeon were arrested on drug possession charges.
Deputies thanked the community and their willingness to come forward with tips.
