Turkey Day opens with frigid temperatures near freezing this morning, although wind chills place most of Michiana in the teens or 20s. If you are heading out early for a Turkey Trot/Bowl, wear some extra layers! Highs climb to near 40F today, but blustery conditions and the permacloud persist. Lake effect flurries develop later tonight with more consistent snow showers evolving through Friday. Snow wraps up late Friday night and stays contained to along and north of the toll road tomorrow, although some areas south of the 80/90 corridor could see a trace. Friday and Saturday's high temperatures reside in the mid to upper 20s, a frigid start to the weekend. Another round of snow showers materializes Sunday, although impacts look minimal at this time.
Today: Overcast. High 38.
Tonight: Lake effect snow. Low 25.
Friday: Lake effect snow. High 29.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. High 26.
