ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, January 1st, 2020
We are starting out 2021 with freezing rain in our forecast. The freezing rain will last into the afternoon so slick roads will be likely most of the day. Isolated power outages cannot be ruled out. It'll briefly change over rain showers in the evening before turning to snow. Less than 1" expected for most but could see 1-2" of snow north of the Indiana Toll Road. I would suggest to avoid driving on New Year's Day if you can.
Saturday is quieter but a quick round of snow moves through Saturday night into early Sunday morning. The first work week in 2021 starts out mild with some sunshine.
New Year's Day: Freezing rain, then rain. High 34.
Tonight:Light snow early, cloudy. Low 30.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. High 38.
Sunday: AM light snow, mostly cloudy. High 37.
