Light rain this morning, Cloudy by afternoon
Bitter cold, lows will be in the single digits, Monday morning. The start of the week is uneventful but middle and end of the week is active. A warm-up may seem like a good thing but not when the result is freezing rain. The concern is Wednesday starting in the early morning as temperatures will be above freezing with rain or a wet snowfall. The ground is colder than the air; freezing rain will be a concern through Wednesday. More snow is likely Friday ahead of another deep-freezing next weekend. Accumulating snowfall of more than three inches is likely Friday. Next weekend will be very cold, highs in the teens.
Tonight: Some clearing, bitterly frigid. Low 4.
Monday: Cold, some sun. High 22.
Tuesday: Warming above freezing. Freezing rain Tuesday night. High 34.
Wednesday: Freezing Rain / Wintry Mix. High 36.
