MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports deputies responded to the 15000 block of US 6 after dispatch received a call regarding a residential entry around 8:18 p.m. on Aug. 29.

Deputies were informed several residents had locked themselves in an upstairs bedroom.

The suspect, later identified as 25-year-old Steevens Lucien of Fort Wayne, was said to have left the scene walking west along US 6.

A deputy later arrived in the area and located Lucien.

The report states Lucien spoke with a deputy and admitted to entering the residence.

Lucien was detained and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Lucien is charged with Residential Entry, a Level 6 Felony, and given a $3,000 bond.
