Former Van Buren County Specialty Court Administrator arrested for felony embezzlement

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- Michigan State Police Fifth District Special Investigation Section announced the arrest of Rachel Celeste Lindley, the 42-year-old former Specialty Court Administrator for Van Buren County.
Lindley, who had relocated to Bethesda, Ma. following her separation from the county, was arrested for felony embezzlement over $100,000 and felony embezzlement by a public official.
Lindley's arrest came after a Michigan State Police-led investigation uncovered evidence she embezzled over $100,000 from various grants. She was arraigned in the 7th District Court on Tuesday.
