SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Former Indiana Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly is back in Michiana, following his time as U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican.
Supporting Lori Camp in the Second Congressional District race against Republican Representative Rudy Yakym, during an event at 'The Brick' in South Bend.
Camp is a high school swim coach turned political newcomer, who supports restoring abortion protections that existed under Roe V. Wade, and says that she wants to work to address immigration reform. compassionately.
"We're used to big money politicians. And I'm not, I am a working mom. My daughter's in college right now. I work eight to five, Monday through Friday, and campaigning right now is my side hustle. And you know what they say about your side hustle? Turn it into your day job," states Camp.
The deadline to register to vote in the state of Indiana is Oct. 7.
