Former governor heads to Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Former Governor Mitch Daniels did not waste a minute getting settled into his next career.

Less than three hours after he shed his political title, he started his new job in the private sector as head of Purdue University. He says he did not even change his suit for the switch.

Daniels signed a five year deal with Purdue for a base pay of $420,000.
