Formal charges filed after several arrested on drug charges in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Four people have been charged in connection with an investigation into heroin dealing at a home on E. 4th Street in Mishawaka.

Seven adults were taken into custody early Wednesday morning when police served a search warrant on the home.

In addition, six children were found in the home and were turned over to DCS.

On Friday, formal charges were filed against four of the people who were allegedly dealing drugs out of the home. One of the suspects is also facing charges for neglect of a dependent.

The individuals charged include:

  • Ollie Bell, 40, charged with dealing in a narcotic drug, neglect of a dependent
  • Deandre Turner, 36, charged with dealing in a narcotic drug
  • Patrice Lindsey, 29, charged with dealing in a narcotic drug
  • Earl McWright, 47, charged with dealing in a narcotic drug
