Forecasting international St. Patrick's Day weather at Fiddler's Hearth

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After a weekend of rain, snow, dust, and smoke, the skies are clearing for a pleasant St. Patrick's Day ahead in Michiana and abroad.

Fiddler's Hearth in downtown South Bend is expecting a line out the door filled with people looking to get their fix of Irish culture for the day.

Terry Meehan, owner of Fiddler's Hearth, told ABC57 the pub will have a "marathon" of music lined up today, so everyone has a chance to catch one of the many artists playing at Fiddler's.

If you find yourself waiting outdoors to get into your favorite local pub or restaurant, expect abundant sunshine and high temperatures in the 50s across Michiana.

Abroad in Dublin, Ireland, will be cooler than Michiana, landing in the mid 40s amidst cloudy skies over most of the Emerald Isle.

Whether it be the tin whistle, bodhrán, or fiddle, there are plenty of opportunities to celebrate being an Irish for a day, both in Michiana and around the world.
