Food Bank of Northern Indiana May mobile food distribution schedule

Below is a list of dates and times that the Northern Indiana Food Bank will be going to different locations to meet the community where they live and provide free food to those in need. 

Wednesday, May 1, 2024 – Marshall County

• 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. ET *While supplies last.
• Where: Plymouth Parks (by the Pool Parking Lot), 1660 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, IN 46563
• This distribution is provided by the USDA and will serve 250 households.

Thursday, May 2, 2024 – Kosciusko County

• 10 a.m. – Noon ET *While supplies last.
• Where: The former Helping Hands Food Pantry, 10072 W. 600 S, Mentone, IN 46539
• This distribution is sponsored by the USDA and will serve 150 households.

Wednesday, May 8, 2024 – LaPorte County

• 10 a.m. – Noon CT *While supplies last.
• Where: Last Resort Campground, 4707 W. 1300 S, Hanna, IN 46340
• This distribution is sponsored by Citizens Concerned for the Homeless and will serve 150 households.

Thursday, May 9, 2024 – Elkhart County

• 10 a.m. - Noon ET *While supplies last.
• Where: Maple City Chapel, 2015 Lincolnway E., Goshen, IN 46526
• This distribution is provided by the USDA and will serve 250 households.

Friday, May 10, 2024 – Starke County

• 10 a.m. - Noon CT *While supplies last.
• Where: Heartland Church, 6020 S. 300 E, Knox, IN 46534
• This distribution is sponsored by the USDA and will serve 200 households.

Thursday, May 16, 2024 – LaPorte County

• 10 a.m. – Noon CT *While supplies last.
• Where: Hope Center Church, 3901 N. 675 W, Michigan City, IN 46360
• This distribution is sponsored by the City of Michigan City and will serve 250 households.

Friday, May 17, 2024 – Starke County

• 10 a.m. – Noon CT *While supplies last.
• Where: Healthlinc, 104 E. Culver Rd., Ste 106, Knox, IN 46534
• This distribution is sponsored by Healthlinc and will serve 250 households.

Monday, May 20, 2024 – Starke County

• 10 a.m. – Noon CT *While supplies last.
• Where: St. Peter Lutheran Church, 810 W. Talmer Ave., North Judson, IN 46366
• This distribution is sponsored by the USDA and will serve 200 households.

Wednesday, May 22, 2024 – LaPorte County

• 10 a.m. – Noon CT *While supplies last.
• Where: LaPorte Civic Auditorium, 1001 Ridge St., LaPorte, IN 46350
• This distribution is sponsored by the USDA and will serve 200 households.

"Assorted food items offered free of charge. All items are pre-boxed and pre-bagged," organizers said. "First come, first served, while supplies last for those in need of food assistance. One box/bag per household. Distributions are drive through. Please remain in your vehicle and open your trunk to receive items. An area will be available for self-loading if your trunk does not open."
