SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Michiana Renaissance Festival wrapped up Sunday in South Bend, closing out a weekend of jousting, music, and medieval-themed fun.
Visitors dressed as fairy tale creatures, pirates, and nobles roamed the grounds while enjoying food, games, and live entertainment.
Attractions included a rat-tossing contest against the queen, a ring-toss challenge with a knight’s sword, pirate songs, and a small parade. Alongside the entertainment, festivalgoers browsed booths selling art, clothing, knives, and swords.
Organizers said the annual event draws crowds for its mix of performances and vendors celebrating Renaissance and fantasy culture.
