Fatal boating incident under investigation in Michigan City

Photo courtesy: Indiana Department of Natural Resources MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. – Indiana Conservation Officers and the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office reported an ongoing investigation into a boating accident that resulted in two fatalities.
Officers from both agencies reported the two victims had fallen into the water in a private body of water near U.S. 421.
The report states a search was immediately initiated where two adult males were located deceased.
A joint investigation with the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana Conservation officers is ongoing.
