Elkhart Police investigate a burglary at a Family Dollar

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.-- At approx. 2:18 a.m. on Oct. 27 an officer arrived due to an alarm from the Family Dollar on 117 West Hively Avenue. 

After arriving, the officer noticed damage to the front door of the business. 

No one was located inside after an inspection. 

The suspect reportedly took an unknown amount of tobacco products and damaged an exterior camera as well. 

This approximately took place around 12- 2 a.m. on that day. 

The case remains under investigation.
