FACT investigating serious crash on Angela Boulevard

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is investigating a single vehicle crash that happened Wednesday night on Angela Boulevard.
South Bend Police were dispatched to Angela Boulevard, near Pokagon, around 9:30 p.m. after a vehicle crashed into a tree.
Two of the three people in the vehicle were taken to the hospital. One of the victims had broken bones and the other had serious injuries.
Both remained hospitalized Thursday morning.
FACT was activated per protocol.
The initial investigation indicates alcohol and speed may have been factors in the crash.
The names of the injured are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
