Elkhart Police investigating theft of trailer from local business

ELKHART, Ind. - The Elkhart Police Department is investigating after a trailer was reportedly stolen from Best Home Services in Elkhart.

At 6:38 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the business in the 100 block of Rush Court for a theft report.

The business owner said someone stole an enclosed 8x14 trailer from where it was parked at the back of the business sometime between 6 p.m. on Monday and 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Inside the trailer was a carpet cleaning unit, power washer, floor scrubber and other items.

There is no suspect information at this time.

This is an ongoing investigation.
