ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Parks & Recreation is hosting a 3-class cooking series for teens in November at the High Dive Pavillion.

Teens ages 13-18 will learn kitchen basics, safe food preparation and sanitation, practice different recipes, and build confidence in cooking for themselves, all with the added perk of doing it in someone else's kitchen.

The classes will take place 6-7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9, 16, and 23.
