Elkhart Parks and Recreation and The Lerner Theatre partner for 'Art Walk After Hours' Concert Series
Elkhart Parks & Rec ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Parks and Recreation and The Lerner Theatre have announced Art Walk After Hours, a brand-new outdoor concert series debuting this season on the Central Green in Downtown Elkhart.
Art Walk After Hours invites the community to live music, energy, and connection on Elkhart's Central Green, and each concert has a theme: the iconic sounds of the 1980s and 1990s to the hits of the 2000s and today. The series promises an engaging, crowd-driven experience where music lovers can relive their favorite decades and discover something new.
Presented in partnership with the City of Elkhart, Elkhart County CVB, Downtown Elkhart, Elkhart Parks & Recreation, Friends of The Lerner, Community Foundation of Elkhart County, and Elkhart Music Town, the series embodies the spirit of “Live. Local. Loud.”
Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the traditional Art Walk festivities throughout downtown before heading to Central Green for performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the show. Admission is free and open to the public.
The series will take place on the last Wednesday of each month from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., inviting the community to stay late and enjoy live music all summer long.
