Elkhart County Safety Partnership will be increasing patrols

ELKHART, Ind. – The Elkhart County Safety Partnership will be increasing patrols during the holiday season from now until January 1.

Officers will be showing zero tolerance from impaired drivers, and will be on the lookout for unbuckled motorists, and impaired drivers from alcohol or drugs.

This is a part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over national enforcement mobilization according to officials.

“With inclement weather and busier roads this time of year, its especially important to buckle up,” said Robert Duckworth, ICJI Traffic Safety Director.

The Elkhart County Traffic Safety Partnership includes six agencies from Elkhart County.
