South Bend man killed in motorcycle crash

ELKHART, Ind. - Police say 61-year-old Donald Pickett of South Bend was the man killed in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday, May 16.
Investigators say Pickett heading south on Oakland Avenue when he crashed into a truck making a turn into Stratford Commons.
The accident happened a little before 6 p.m.
Pickett was rushed to the hospital but died on the way .
The truck driver was not hurt and is working with police on the investigation.
