SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- After weeks of delays, the elevator at Heritage Place at Lasalle Square in South Bend is back up and running.

Elderly residents told ABC57 they felt stranded, as they were unable to use the stairs when the building's only elevator was out of order.

Building management said that supply chain issues were what delayed the elevator getting fixed.
