Edwardsburg Public Schools to stay closed on Monday

EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – Superintendent James Knoll announced that Edwardsburg Public Schools will not open on Monday due to a high rate of illness affecting students and staff.

Superintendent Knoll says that the transportation department in particular has been hit hard with staff members taking sick days due to flu-like symptoms.

Out of concern for the safety of the students and staff, the school district decided that closing down school operations on Monday was the best course of action.

This includes the cancellation of all sports and extracurricular activities for Monday.

Busses and buildings used by the transportation department will be disinfected.

School operations will resume on Tuesday.
