Edwardsburg Public Schools share resources for families impacted by Friday's storm
ABC 57 EDWARDSBURG, Mich. --- Edwardsburg Public Schools shares opportunities for community members to support and assist families impacted by Friday's severe storms.
In coordination with the Cass County Emergency Manager, Michigan State Police, After the Storm - Michigan Disaster Response and Recovery, and several other community partners, Edwardsburg Public Schools are looking to best support families impacted across Cass County.
The United Way of Southwest Michigan has launched a disaster recovery fund dedicated exclusively to assisting local families impacted by Friday's storm. Donations can be made at: Southwest Michigan Cares. If you would like to specifically support Edwardsburg Public Schools families or Cass County families, please specify via the donation memo line.
At this time, cash donations are most beneficial as they allow response teams and case managers to provide the most immediate support where it is needed most.
Edwardsburg Public Schools families who were impacted by the storm will be contacted by the school regarding support and assistance through After the Storm - Michigan Disaster Response and Recovery.
For community members to make donations outside of cash contributions and volunteer opportunities, please contact Laura Croff at [email protected]. Croff will assist in coordinating and directing these efforts appropriately.
