LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- A man will spend time in jail after fleeing from police on Toll Road.

On July 18, around 6:40 p.m. Trooper John Levitz was notified through radio of a silver Dodge truck speeding eastbound on Indiana Toll Road.

Levitz would catch up with the driver of the Dodge truck identified as 28-year-old Justyn Thomas.

Thomas would continue to drive over 100 miles per hour before coming to a stop.

Once stopped it was found that the Dodge was occupied by a woman and two children.

The Chicago man was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement, a Level 6 Felony, Neglect of a Dependent, a Level 6 Felony, and Reckless Driving, a C-Misdemeanor.

Thomas was taken to the LaGrange County Jail.

The woman and children were released from the scene.
