Edwardsburg Middle School closing due to COVID-19
CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Between Monday, October 12 and Friday, October 16, Edwardsburg Middle School will be closed due to COVID-19 related reasons.
Edwardsburg Public Schools was notified by the county health department of two Edwardsburg Middle School students testing positive.
An additional 33 middle school and two Edwardsburg High school students are quarantining.
A letter and phone message was sent out this evening to all Edwardsburg Public School District families and staff.
Extension of the school closure will be evaluated later in the week.
Families that need remote school supplies from the middle school may contact the office and the supplies will be delivered to each person at the Middle School entrance.
Families are encouraged to continue to follow the guidelines of social distancing, hand sanitizing, wearing masks, and providing timely communication to minimize the potential of transferring the COVID-19 virus to others.
