National College Decision Day is pushed back this year
EDWARDSBURG, MI - Hundreds of donations later, and after countless activities the Woods family of Edwardsburg had a successful fundraiser for their son Riley Woods
Today’s fundraiser was for Eight-year-old Riley Woods who was diagnosed with gastroparesis earlier this year.
Gastroparesis is a disease that effects a person’s stomach muscles preventing it from fully emptying.
The Woods family’s mounting medical bills is preventing them from being able to cover the costs for a procedure that the insurance company won’t cover.
The Woods family said they’re thankful for every donation.
“Every Single cent counts and t helps and we are just so blessed and so thankful for every little bit” Corey Woods said.
After the fundraiser event organizers said they raised $6,200 to go towards Riley’s medical bills.
