Sunny skies and warmer highs: quiet weather ahead
No substantial change in the forecast is expected as highs reach the upper 80s today amidst mostly sunny skies. Tonight, partly cloudy skies and the mid 50s occupy Michiana. This week will continue to feel more like Summer than Fall with the warmer and drier than normal pattern persisting. As a potential tropical cyclone develops off the coast of the Carolinas today and tomorrow, we will see a few more clouds and a slight fall-off in high temperatures into the mid 80s by the middle of the week. Rain is still hard to come by, however, and drought conditions likely take hold of our area by Thursday.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 88.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 55.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 84.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy High 84.
