Downtown Goshen will be hosting a Green Day Celebration during First Fridays on Friday, May 2

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Downtown Goshen, Inc. is hosting a Green Day Celebration during Goshen's First Fridays. The celebration will be held on Friday, May 2, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the event will be located at Goshen's Courthouse lawn in downtown.
There will be live music performances and a tree climbing demonstration. Vendors, local artists, and local businesses will be a part of the celebration as well.
"It's always beautiful to be on the Courthouse lawn, with the trees in bloom, and enjoying the Green Day Celebration with so much of our community," said Director of First Fridays, Amanda Rose. "This annual event always feels like everyone is happy to be coming out of winter hibernation, and happy to be back outdoors. We'll have great food, live entertainment, shopping, and activities for all ages that are exciting and also promote sustainability awareness," said Rose.

Green Day Celebration Performance Schedule:
- 6:00 p.m. — 6:30 p,.m. : Prairie View and West Goshen Choirs on the courthouse steps
- 6:40 p.m. — 7:00 p.m. : Award Ceremony on the courthouse steps
- 7:10 p.m. — 7:30 p.m. : HartWood Tree Climbing Demonstration on the lawn
- 8:00 p.m. — 9:00 p.m.: Los Ortega at the Miller Poultry Main Stage
