DOWAGIAC, Mich. -- It's back to the drawing board for Dowagiac schools.
A nearly $20 million bond proposal failed on Tuesday.
The plan was to close Union High School and add on to the middle school, but voters decided it was just too expensive.
The superintendent told us he was disappointed, but promised to come up with another plan to improve the high school.
